  3. Nice series of images! Are these cropped down? My understanding is that the standard K-x lense doesn't have macro mode. I'm considering getting a K-x, but am loath to give up the macro mode of my current camera. Also, have they been post-processed, or are they straight out of the camera? The sharpness and detail is impressive, not to mention the richness of the colours! Nice work.

  4. No they are not cropped down, the lens I was using was my 50-200mm lens, my apologies not not mentioning that. I love my camera, and still figuring out all the features, I believe you are correct that it not having a Marco feature. I did do some color enhancing, and detail sharping on Photoshop but not much. Thank you for the compliments

  5. No worries, no apology needed. I'm always trying to improve my photography by experimenting and figuring out what other people are doing. I find knowing the shooting info helps sometimes.

Glad you like your camera. The reviews have been generally glowing. The only other concern I have is battery life on AAs. How have you found it to be?

  6. Four AA (lithium, alkaline, and rechargeable Ni-MH) batteries.

Alkaline, I won't use, you won't get much done beteer changing.

Lithiums, are much better last longer.

I use the rechargable Ni-MH batteries, and generally i find not to bad on batteries, I have two sets I used and one is always charged, and my charger, came with a car charger and so the ability to charge is there. Just incase though I do carry 2 pack of batterires with me at all times, for just that happening. the only thing I wish is that there was a battery pack for it, like the Canon my friend has. other than that I'm enjoying my camera and playing with the features to create picks people enjoy.
